Let me introduce myself. I sign my art as "Kasey-chan", so feel free to call me that. My interest in drawing started when my sister and I went down to the book store and we discovered How-To-Draw-Anime books. It took off from there.
When I'm not scribbling away I am pursuing work in theatrical properties, spending way too much time on Netflix, watching too much TV, and wishing radioactive waste really did give people superpowers.

My Glorious Day

Hey All! I got a fan art posted up today! So now I am waiting patiently for the results of mewmewlover55's contest. The contest ends today, but people who have a submission can still submit it, which is kinda nice. I hope to get another fan art done but I have a 3-8 shift so I don't know if that'll work out. Plus I'm seeing the new Batman movie tonight!!! DanananananananananananaNANANANANA! BATMAN!!!! lol, yes I AM one of those geeks who finds pleasure in watching the old TV Land Batman show. Batman and Spiderman, can't beat 'em! That's what I say! lol. Man, I'm such a geek. Anywhoo, I'm very excited to see the movie (or couldn't you tell?). Not only am I a huge Christian Bale fangirl, but I am also interested to see how Heath Ledger portrays the role of the Joker. I wonder if it will be as good as Jack Nicholson....he had a better face for it. He's a creepy guy in general. Well, I'll be around to check up on all of you before I work!
Oh ya, I'm finding out the wonderful world that is trrents lol. I just finshed downlaoding the Avatar Last Airbender Compilation and am now working on Azumanga Daioh. I'll probably do Eureka Seven and Yu Gi Oh the Abridged series. I love it!!!!!
And another exciting thing: ANOTHER ARTEMIS FOWL BOOK CAME OUT!!!!!!!!!! I am unbelievably excited to pick it up ^-^. I'll have to balance out that and Northanger Abbey lol. Two very different pieces of literature. I'll have weird dreams for sure.

I'm Back!!!!!!!

Hello All! I have finally returned from NOLA (New Orleans, Louisiana) and I had an absolutely amazing experience down there. We mostly worked with the children, who were all precious and adorable, which was draining yet so fulfilling. So now I'm back, and I'm happy to be home, but at the same time I really miss NOLA. I feel as if we could have done more...but then again I feel like that after every missions trip.
So I'm back, and I have to work soon so this post won't be half as long as I'd like it to be. Whats been going on here? I'll have to check up with everyone after I come home.
Oh yes, mewmewlover55, I tried to change the tag on my submission, but I don't know if it worked or not. I'm glad you liked it ^-^.

Missions Trip Tommorow

So I only have one full day at home between vacation and my missions trip tomorrow, it's a busy month! I have a bit of time now so I wanted to make a longer post. Our vacation was really fun, we went to the Shenandoah mountains in Virginia. It was really beautiful up there! We got a lot of hiking in, there were wild blueberries growing on the top of this one mountain. They were pretty good for having just ripened. We also went to an indoor water park they had there. It was a pretty cool place, my favorite part was the water slides they had in there. They had a bunch of tube slides, it was really neat how they put those in there. My little brother didn't want to leave lol.
Well, now I'm back and anticipating my missions trip to New Orleans. Only three other kids are going. I'm excited for that because it's going to be a good bonding time for all of us and I'll get to know a girl that I don't really know all that well.
Okay so I was reading a post/essay thing on OC's the other day. Not all of it cuz it was 10 or so pages, but I do want to read a lot of it. Anyway, I thought the author made a lot of really good points and pointed out a lot of problems with how people make OC's and fan characters on this site. I think it's still there, but it' pretty good so I'd read it. It's by marcuswolf or something like that.
Well now I'm going to see what you all are up to!

Vacation

Well I just had time to post before our family takes a summer vacation. I'm really looking forward to it!
Yesterday I noticed that we had 50 subscribers! Huzzah! I put up a picture to celebrate that.

Okay so I've been working and shopping (not the fun kind; shopping for a bathroom shelf and a college book) all day, so I'm pooped. Tonight I'm going to see Footloose at the theater I interned at this past year. It's a daddy daughter date lol so me and my sis are going with my dad. I'm excited, the food there is great lol (it's a dinner theater). Anyway I'm pooped so I'll end this now. Oh yes, I officially posted my submission for mewmewlover55's contest.
