Welcome to my little corner of The Otaku!

Let me introduce myself. I sign my art as "Kasey-chan", so feel free to call me that. My interest in drawing started when my sister and I went down to the book store and we discovered How-To-Draw-Anime books. It took off from there.
When I'm not scribbling away I am pursuing work in theatrical properties, spending way too much time on Netflix, watching too much TV, and wishing radioactive waste really did give people superpowers.

Today's Events

Well today s a bus day for me. I have to pick up my room, pack for two trips I'm going on, call my cell phone company (to fix my improperly activated cell phone), and finish my submission for mewmewlover55's contest. In case I didn't formally state what my submission was going it be, it's a geisha with a flute (because the contest's theme is music). This doozie of a picture is taking me a little longer then normal because instead of photoshopping the kimono's designs in, my jobless and bored self decided to hand draw all of them in with colored pencils. So it's a slow and steady process, but at least it's entertaining me immensely. lol.
So all of this needs to happen before about 6pm tonight because my family is going to see my grandma's brother's wife do a puppet show at a nearby recreational center. To give you a better idea of what recreational center means, it's a small mountain with a big lake (people swim there in the summer), lots of quaint cottages, a rural theater, a old time ice cream shop, a park, and a miniature golf course. It's a really col place so I'm pretty excited about tonight. I just need to get through today! lol.

My Happy Caffine Intake

Well I had about three caffeinated drinks today so I'm on pretty late for me lol. Today I FINALLY got a good idea down for mewmewlover55's contest that I'm satisfied with thus far. I think it will be pretty awesome when it's done, but it will take a while to finish...I'm going with a Geisha theme. Geez, thinking of something to talk about this late is tougher than I thought. A lot of people that haven't been around for a while updated recently...such as emily-chan, kazusa, and charr. So please check out thier new stuff ^-^. Okaaaayyyy....my mind is slowly burning away.....oops there it goes.

I was finally able to finish and post another Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei fan art ^-^. I feel so accomplished lol. Okay so today is another lazy day for me. My Aunt might take us to see the Hulk movie. I hope that one won't be a let down! Okay so I really have nothing else to say lol. I think I'll go aorund and see what everyone else is up to.

Since I last Posted

Well I've been trying to get a lot of fan art done. I really need a mouse for my computer so I can photoshop more easy. I really am bad at using the little scroll pad thinger on my laptop. So I guess I'll just find a cheap one. Anywhoo, I have two Zetsubou fan arts, one +Anima (if any of you have heard of that one), and two originals. However my mother is on the computer right now so it'll be a while...maybe I'll take a walk. Okay so I was so happy about the comments on my latest fan art I put up! It's so refreshing to know that there are other believers out there! I was so inspired by you guys! .
Alright, on today's schedule, I'm going to my little sort of nieces birthday at my Aunts house. It's supposed to be a pool party, but it looks like it's going to rain. I'm hoping that keeps off. So you might see some art soon, it all depends..
