There's Something Magical About Snow

We had our first snowfall today . This made my inner child jump up and down with unbridled joy! Immediately, I started brewing a steaming pot of green tea and downed the whole thing (with some help from my room mate) in a matter of 20 minutes. Thoughts of hot chocolate, sledding, snowball fights, and Christmas are dancing around in my head right now :).
So, I don't know how much classic TV you all watch, but I have become particularly fond of the old Adam West Batman lately. I watched the entire first season last year and only picked it back up a few nights ago. Probably the worst interpretation of Batman to ever grace public television. Even people in the 60's thought it made no sense, which is saying something. However, it is one of the most entertaining shows in the world. I mean, where else do you see the penguin plotting to marry a rich debutante in order to steal her expensive wedding presents or the joker and batman decide the fate of Gotham Beach in a surfing contest?!? It's just so bad, it's awesome. I mean, where else can you find this dialogue in the middle of a fight scene:
"They can't get away from Batman that easy!"
"Easily"
"Oh. Easily"
"Good grammar is essential, Robin"
"Thank You"
"You're Welcome. Now, lets get them!!!!"

Also probably the only Batman universe where he drives the speed limit and pays for the parking meters haha.
genius. I highly recommend it, except all the episodes follow the same plot of "villain commits crime. batman and robin run around gotham solving preposterous clues to uncover the evil plot. Villain captures the dynamic duo in some sort of ridiculous death trap. They escape and save the day." So watching it over and over gets tedious after a while. Still, all the other elements are just so entertaining, you have to keep watching it.
And there's my little rant for the day

so true.
have fun otaku-ing!
