Someone once told me that there is a difference between the living dead and the undead. See, the living dead is a term specifically for zombies, because they are the dead reanimated, but can be rekilled with anything from a chainsaw to a machine gun to a pea plant. Undead, however, refers to beings such as vampires, not alive but not quite dead, who take a whole lot longer to "kill", or with more complicated means. It makes sense to me.
So does that put ghosts in the undead category? They're certainly not the living dead...Are they just dead?
These questions need answers.
