I just checked and realized my last post was over a year ago..damn. Anyway I'm still around, though frankly not as much as I used to be. Life catches up, you know? There is so much one wants to do but never enough time to get it done.
I feel like since it's been a year there should be a lot to share. Right?
But I can't think of a single thing XD
OH! It was my birthday yesterday. I turned 18. It didn't quite feel like my birthday and to be very honest...I forgot XDD My mother called me from work around noon to wish me a happy birthday and I asked "Oh is that today?" She wonders about me sometimes.
Aside from that I did get a fair amount of writing done in the past few months, worked on some stories, made some major changes, killed a lot of characters, and such.
I've also been forced to attempt poetry due to persistent annoyances from a particular someone (I hate you sempai) I still dislike my attempts but I've always loved poetry and randomly quote it on occasions so perhaps I can manage writing it with a bit of practice.
I've somehow managed to make a few new friends over the summer. They're both odd and I've met them under strange circumstances but they're good people so I'll keep them for now XD
Now I'm just wasting my days away until college starts (yes I'm going to that soon XD). My schedule sucks and my classes consist of nothing but math and science...and 18 credits, but I am somehow looking forward to it. I'm a nerd. I enjoy learning and I know what I want to do with my life so I'm excited to start.
Also I've wasted a lot of my time on pinterest...it's pretty bad actually. I think I'm obsessed. It's a fun site. I recommend it but just know that it will ruin your life, especially if you get the app. You'll never get off!
Another life ruiner: The Fault in Our stars. I've invested some summer time into reading and finished several books which I'm very happy about. But I got the Fault in Our Stars as an early birthday present from a friend and finished in about 3 days, would have been faster but again life gets in the way XD. When I did finish though I think I just had to close the book and stare at the wall for a moment and recollect myself. Has anyone read it because I have nobody to talk to about this book! None of my friends want to hear it because they're either in the middle of reading it or intend to read it soon. I loved Gus but I think Isaac might have been my favorite.
I cant think of anything else for now but I'll try to check back in soon. I'll probably have a post whining about school in the coming month.
