This is where I'll post my thoughts, opinions, or just things that happened to me.

A little tidbit about me in 270 words:
I am known as various names, but on theOtaku, I go by the username Timcanpy14. I’ll start off with my favourite anime/manga (in no order): Code Geass, Death Note, D.Gray-man, Shiki, and Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni. Outside of graphic desigining and anime/manga, my hobbies include drawing and painting; singing; reading novels, poems and non-fiction; watching movies; swimming in pools, the sea (I love the ocean but sadly, I live far away from the coast T.T); and jogging.

I’ve also made a recent discovery of myself, and that is being a practical person—I’m decent at solving math problems and whatnot but lacking in creativity and originality. What a great reason to be on a creative anime art-promoting website, huh? xD

Let’s move on to favourite colours. Mine consist of various shades of cyan, pink and purple, but it’s not like I absolutely love only those colours and despise every other colour. xD

If you’re like me and have selective memory, I’ll sum it all up for you. In short, the identity of Timcanpy14 can be defined as being an Otaku, having many hobbies, enjoying swimming in the sea, has a practical mind, and finds the shades of cyan, pink and purple pleasing to her eyes.

And that’s all you really need to know about me—or not, because it’s not that important, haha. But if you were—for some reason—curious about me, there it is. Hope that answers all your questions? Happy Birthday, Canada!

To all the Canadians and non-Canadians here at theO, happy Canada Day! ^^

So this morning, I was getting ready to meet my friends at the local park, where there's a big event celebrating Canada Day. I was trying to find something red to wear when I realized that I didn't own anything red. Like really. O.o So I finally found a hot pink shirt which I thought was close enough to red. XD

At the park, we walked around, went on a hayride, ate some free cake and had water gun fights. XD We all got completely soaked with water, and it was a little cold at first but then we weren't that cold anymore because of the sun. ^^

There were also band performances by our local musicians playing at different areas of the park, but we didn't pay much attention to them. I think we were just having fun doing other stuff, and there were a lot of events to check out.

So yeah, I guess that's all I did today. XD Though it doesn't sound like much, I definitely had a great time hanging out with my friends and having fun.

The Edge of Glory

SO. Lady Gaga's new music video for The Edge of Glory was released last night.
I personally thought it was great. All the attention was on her, no other dancers and no one else except for the saxophonist. It shows that you can have fun even when you're alone.

But there are just so many comments saying that it was too boring and "not Lady Gaga" and all that. Well, now they're just contradicting themselves. XD On Gaga's other music videos, all I see are "Lady Gaga should be normal for once" or "she should make a simpler music video" and stuff like that, but now when she does make a simple and "normal" video, they're complaining about it. I mean, make up your mind people! XD I don't mind people stating their own opinions, but why the hate? People expect too much these days. Just accept what you were given. ^^

My favourite comment on there (a reply to a comment saying that they need to bring back the "old Gaga"): "There is no 'Old Gaga'... She was born this way!" X3

So anyway, that's my rant for today. XD I didn't mean to make it sound (excuse me) bitchy or anything, but I'm sorry if it sounds like it. ^^;;;

Well, my homework is a survey to see if people are either more optimistic or pessimistic about the future. Pandora Hearts Ch. 60

I haven't updated my world for about a thousand years, so I thought I'd make a not-really-productive post about the new Pandora Hearts chapter. ^^;

Well, I guess the first thing I'm going to say about this chapter is: Pretty G-Fantasy cover art~ ^w^ The second thing is that I guess there isn't really anything important to ramble about in said chapter, except for the fact that Vincent is probably planning something that's not very nice. (But that's why I love him~)

Oh, and I loved the coloured pages! Even though there were only two (if I remember correctly), they were still very beautiful. <3 And it also reminded me of my nonexistent colouring/artsy skills and somewhat depressed me. XD

I also had a O_o moment and was completely confused when Alice chewed on Oz's ear... Does that mean that Alice is beginning to eat humans as other chains do? Hopefully this gets answered soon...?

Made my heart skip a beat... XDD;

And I'm inclined to believe that Vincent's line --> here to Leo at the end will be somewhat--if not very--important. I can't wait until next month when chapter 61 comes out! ^n^
