Hats are cool? I hope this one is at least. I've developed a minor obsession with the flat cap recently, and I figure that if I started to wear any kind of hat at all, this one would look best on me.
I should wear a bow tie with it... *derp*
My dad has succeeded in spoiling Pond, and not in a good way.
We decided from the beginning to keep her as an inside cat. Avoids a lot of problems. The only times she'd been "outside" was on my grandma's screened-in back patio.
Well dad thought it would be amusing to let her out on our porch yesterday. He kept an eye on her, but after a few times out, she's now got a taste for it, and she will get in front of the door and whine to be let out. >>;
So, I totes blame my dad for this.

Pond is going back to the shelter tomorrow for her de-sexing. Once this is done, we'll be able to officially adopt her. I just wish she didn't have to go through the stress of it. -3-

Pond is home now. She's a bit wary, not letting anyone get too close to her for now. She also seems a bit 'caved in' around her back half. I had no idea she'd look like that. o3o She's also shaved around her belly. Poor thing...
The stitches are internal, and the scar is covered by a superglue-type bandage. We haven't needed to bathe her yet, but now we definitely can't do that for a couple of weeks.
But she's now officially ours. :D
