Looks like SyFy is getting in on the action with an American remake of Being Human coming in January.
For those who aren't familiar with Being Human, the series centers on the struggles of three room mates: a werewolf, a ghost, and a vampire, all of whom would rather live a normal life among humans.
I'm not really a fan of the original version anyway, but I wonder how long this transplant will last.
Once again, the fine American tradition of ripping off British TV rears its head. I just saw an ad on History Channel for a US version of Top Gear...
I predict failure. Or at least, it won't be the popular success the original version is. When you take Jeremy, James, and Richard out of the equation, it just isn't the same.
Will they even have the Stig?
As if any more proof were needed that TLC is ridiculous and should finally just change it's name, I caught an ad for a new show... Sarah Palin's Alaska!
