I just got done watching Blue Harvest. Definitely worth buying; a few jokes went on a bit too long, but overall a funny episode of Family Guy.
Of course, the moment that really got me laughing was the jump to lightspeed. I just wish this clip I found was in English, but it still works as a visual aid...
I've seen Doctor Who references in The Simpsons and Robot Chicken, but never before in Family Guy, so you can imagine how tickled I was =P
I even turned on the commentary to hear what they had to say about that gag. I wasn't best pleased by some of the things Seth McFarlane said:
"It's the kind of show, when you're a kid, it doesn't do anything for you."
Well sir, it may have not done anything for you, but it influenced an entire generation of children who are now in the entertainment business, both in the UK and the US. It just twigs me the wrong way to think someone as clever as him never could get into the series.
Oh well, enough of my ranting. At least I got a good laugh out of it
