So, the birthday is over now. It was pretty standard; I haven't had a party since I was a kid, and I prefer it that way. =P
Went out with dad to renew my license plate registration, then swung around to Best Buy to use the previously mentioned $25 gift card. I had forgotten to record the Doctor Who special Planet of the Dead on Sunday, but they already had it released on DVD so I grabbed that, plus Mystery Science Theater 3000 Collection XIV with the episodes "Mad Monster", "Manhunt in Space", "Soultaker", and "Final Justice". Urgh, I wish I had a million dollars, there are so many other things in that store I want to get. >3<
In the evening we ordered dinner from That Little Restaurant, a small place just outside the neighborhood. We had the same back on grandma's birthday, and I just had to have the meatloaf sandwich again (it is foodgasmic). For desert we had key lime pie, because I prefer that over cake any day. =P And since tomorrow is Wednesday, it means vegging in front of the TV for the all-day NCIS marathon (my latest addiction/obsession).
I want to thank everyone for the gifts. I have too many to display now. XD I'll have to sort through them tomorrow. And thanks to Shin, Chibi-Anna-Chan, Katana and Gome for the e-cards. ^^
