So, today my dad and I were going to see if we could turn my car in for this Cash for Clunkers program. Before we even left the house, a thorough stint of research on the internet revealed that my car does not qualify. A 19-year-old Buick that has at least one thing break down in it every year doesn't qualify? Meh. Next Saturday we're still going to go around to a couple of dealerships and check out cars and figure out if anything has a good monthly payment deal. Whether or not it qualifies, my car is definitely a clunker and pretty soon I'm going to need something new. My grandpa bought that Buick when I was still in elementary school. =P
Despite that, we did get the car washed at least. It's been ages since I've gone into a ride-thru car wash. The big wipers flailing about and smacking the car was freaky. It felt like being attacked by some tentacled monster. XP
At least we had some good luck at the mall afterward. Went there mainly for socks and underwear (everyone stay calm, thank you), and also found a couple of nice shirts. I think the person they hired to repaint the changing room in the boys section of Penny's was blind. Orange and purple is not a very pleasant combination. o3o
