So I slept in, again... I gotta make sure I don't do that this week since relatives will be visiting and I don't want to waste the little time I'll get to have with people I never see most of the year.
Despite my sloth-like speed, things managed to get done today. Got a couple of things out in the mail, dad had to drop some bill payments off at various places, we tried looking for a CD for mom but I knew we weren't going to find it, which doesn't matter because I found it on Amazon anyway. Our last destination was the bookstore, and I couldn't leave without snagging some more Discworld - Hogfather, Feet of Clay, and Jingo. I wanted Hogfather particularly because it's the Discworld "Christmas" novel, so now's a good time to read it. I've also decided that I don't really care about trying to read the series in perfect release order anymore. At the moment, I'm mainly interested in the books featuring the City Watch.
Tomorrow is going to be a long day, since we have to drive up to the hospital for my next regular checkup at the cardiac clinic. We should be done and on our way home earlier in the day since we have just the one appointment this time, but the drive might take a bit longer depending on which route we travel or how bad the traffic is.
