First of, to refresh everyone's memory, a couple months ago my 500GB external hard drive stopped working. Neither my PC nor my laptop would accept it, because the installation software wouldn't function. Took it to Geek Squad, they couldn't do anything about it and suggested I contact the manufacturer... Which I kept procrastinating on because, you know, I'm just like that.
Chatting with Raina last night, she reminded me about it again, and as an experiment I hooked it up to my laptop just to see what would happen... And lo and behold, the darn thing worked. The installation software didn't have any problems this time. *rolls eyes* But because this thing is unreliable, I finally unpacked the 2TB drive I bought and I've been transferring files since last night.
So yeah, these are the ironies of my life.
