What's been going on around here lately...
My parents are now officially retired. They've spent most of this week cleaning out their classrooms, and because they don't have to go back again in the fall, that means EVERYTHING. The house is really cluttered, even more than usual, and the carport is full of boxes and other items. I might have more motivation to clean up my own room now, if just to have a bit of space.
My dental appointment on Tuesday was epic fail. They didn't call in a reminder til about half an hour before the actual appointment time; I took the fastest shower in my life; took about six or seven calls to finally reach dad; and in the end, even though we made it, in all the confusion and rushing around (and not knowing if I'd even be able to get there), I'd forgotten to take my pre-meds (which I always take before every cleaning), so they didn't want to risk it. So now the appointment is moved to mid-June.
I ordered all three of the new Doctor Who novels, but I'm holding off reading them because before they arrived I got back into Discworld and I'd like to focus on getting through a few more of those for now.
Last weekend I started watching Criminal Minds, so I'll use the summertime to catch up on it while waiting for new seasons of shows to start up in the fall. :V
