With Timber posting a link to Toni Basil's "Hey Mickey" and Ryosuke posting a Joan Jett song, I've caught the 80s fever.
For the most part, I think 80s music is a steaming pile of kaka. However, there are a few silver linings to that particular decade. One of them was Queensryche, one of the founding bands of the Progressive Metal genre.
Their break-out hit was 1988's Operation: Mindcrime, a concept album about a young junkie who joins an underground revolution and falls in love with a prostitute-turned-nun.
