The end is in sight...

SUNSHINE! WE HAVEN'T SEEN SUNSHINE SINCE MONDAY!!

Yep, the sun has finally begun to break through the clouds today, although we continue to get some rain from time to time. The tropical storm was stationary fro around 9-10 hours since late last night/early this morning, and it's only moving at less than an average walking pace whenever it does get going. The hope is that a trough of dry air coming in from the northeast will start to nudge it off to the west.

Thanks to a change in wind direction yesterday, the water has stopped seeping into my room, so that problem is over.

As for my previous post, I never said I hated ALL 80s music, only MOST of it. I will conceed to what Shin said. And did anyone actually watch the video I posted? =P Nevermind, I know whatever vitriol I received was just teasing.

Random factoid:
Watching an episode of The Works on History Channel, this one is about sneakers. If you've ever heard someone (most likely British) ever refer to sneakers as "plimsols", here's why: the band running around the shoe above the sole resembled the plimsol, or water line, of a ship.
