New Music and Stuff in the Mail

So, my exciting life continues. *brick'd*

First, just posted some new music over on Uploads. This time some selections from Porcupine Tree, one of my all-time favorites bands and one of the reigning acts in the progressive music scene.

Honestly, nothing much has happened lately since the drama of Tropical Storm Fay, and I guess that's a good thing. Right now the parents are out of town until Monday at some weekend church camp retreat thing, which dad said he really would prefer to skip, but since he skipped it last year he feels obligated to go this time.

After seeing an ad for some new oven baked sanwiches from Domino's Pizza (and having a coupon) I decided to to order in dinner. I was taken aback when the guy on the other end confirmed our address without me even having to tell him. We haven't ordered from Domino's in years, but I guess we were still in their records. And the chicken bacon ranch sandwich... Oh man, talk about foodgasmic. *drools* I'm going to enjoy the other half and the rest of the pizza for lunch tomorrow.

Although I still didn't get my expected CD in the mail, I did get a package from Rangiku, one of my friends from Anime Pulse. She sent homemade brownies just like last year, and some Japanese candy - Hichews, strawberry and grape flavored. For those who aren't familiar with them, they're roughly the shape and size of Tootsie Rolls and are similar to Starburst, except not as overwhelmingly sweet and a bit more rubbery when chewed. Pretty good stuff.

So yeah, dunno what I'll do today other than take the oportunity to watch some anime or a concert DVD on the living room TV while kicking back in the recliner, and spending some time with grandma.
