I've never really been interested in buying computer games, but I'm really interested in SPORE now, especially after watching a special presentation of "The Future is Wild" on Discovery Channel tonight that included looks at the development of SPORE.
I'm really into evolution, so I think SPORE would be the right kind of game for me. I like the idea of creating weird beings and guiding them along their paths. "I'm the god, I'M THE GOD!!" *shot for MST quoting*
I tried downloading the trial version of SPORE Creature Creator, but ran into a couple of roadblocks. First, I had to get a new version of DirectX. Then, just as the thing was loading, it said my video card was not up to the required specs. I looked at video card prices online, and it's really pissing me off that even if I wanted to buy SPORE, I'll have to spend extra money to upgrade my computer just to get the damn game to work. And if I can't play the trial version, how will I know if I like the game enough to buy it? DX
So if anyone gets the game before me, please let me know what you think if it. ^^
Oh, and why didn't anyone tell me Black Lagoon: Second Barrage Disc 1 has been out since mid-August? @_@
I sense a trip to the store this week...
