The last two hours have not been pleasant.
For some reason, I couldn't connect to the internet on my PC, but the connection itself was not the problem because all the other computers in the house were connecting just fine.
Well then I decided to install some updates and see if that would fix it. Unfortunately that made things worse, because then the computer was stuck in a perpetual restart loop.
To get out of that, I went into PC Recovery (F10). While it saved all of my programs, it only did to a certain degree. I have to reload every song on iTunes, and every saved link I had in Firefox and IE has been wiped out. Hundreds of links, gone, and no way to do a System Restore and get back to where it has been. So guess what I'll be doing over the next few days.
Oh, and after all that, the internet STILL WOULDN'T connect! Turns out all I had to do was mess with the router, as usual. It's always the simple sollution, and after you've completely messed up your computer trying everything else...
