Well, it turns out there was some confusion over today's dental appointment. When they called earlier in the week, I thought they said they would move next week's cleaning to today. When we got there, they were surprised to see us.
Apparently I misinterpreted the change: today's appointment had been moved to the same day as next week's cleaning. Since we were there and there was no one else, I went ahead and had my original appointment anyway, but I'll still have to go back next week for the cleaning (because the person who does cleanings is only there on Monday and Tuesday).
And now, some sad, sad news that I just learned about from my sister. After next year's Doctor Who specials, David Tennant will leave the show. T_T
Here is a small article speculating as to who might play the 11th Doctor. From what I see of this list, I'm leaning toward either James McAvoy or Sean Pertwee. I don't think it would be a good idea to cast someone who has already guest-starred previously in the show.
