Well, with the excitement of the election now passed, nothing much is happening, so here I am filling in the dead space with some music, as usual.
After recently reading news that Queensryche - one of the founding bands of the progressive metal genre - is wrapping up work on their next album, I've been digging back into their older stuff.
Here is one of my favorite songs. It is "Lady Jane" from their 1994 album Promised Land. I think everyone should enjoy this, as it is one of their songs that shows they are more than just a metal band. It's a nice, darkly beautiful ballad with some piano in the mix.
