Earlier this week while visiting my favorite online music store, I had a pleasant surprise: I found out In Flames just released a new album 
It's title is A Sense Of Purpose, and after hearing the first track and clips of the rest of it, I can tell I'm going to be spinning this CD a lot for the next week or more. It sounds like their most melodic album yet, which is good because I hardly ever enjoy an In Flames CD from start to finish without feeling some songs are just filler, but this one might break that trend. It has the potential to perfectly strike that delicate balance between melody and pummeling heaviness.
Like my horror anime shows, the death metal I listen to is a small and special niche within my overall music taste, so I'm always excited when one of those bands comes out with something new to get me headbanging
