All I have to say about today's Doctor Who episode is...

And now, from the fires of ancient Pompeii to the snow and ice of the Ood-Sphere in the distant future!
The Ood first appeared in Season 2, in the 2-part story The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit. They are a telepathic, squidish-humanoid species and are also exploited by mankind as a slave race.
