Hey everyone!
I took a little adventure and got together with some old friends this weekend. It ended up that the main friend's b-day was 4/25 and she lives in Portland, Oregon. Needless to say, we drove to her apartment and stayed all weekend. With the no tax and everything, we had a blast shopping as only girls can do yeah? Along with a new journal, my friend (let's call her S-chan) is always looking for new games, whether that be video, board, or even card, as long as we can play it, she's into it. Upon picking up one dubbed "Gloom" we began laughing as she read us the rules. Each player has about 5 characters that make up a family. These families have really bad histories such as a mom that is a mad scientist who brought her daughter and husband back to life, so now the daughter is marrying a reanimated teddy bear. But, the best part is the goal of the game. Make your family as miserable as possible while making the other players' families as happy as possible. It was quite fun since you also wrack up as many negative points as possible and then kill off your own family members. The game ends when one family's members are all dead, but the player with the most negative points wins. It was a blast needless to say, because you have to be creative and tell stories of what happened, not just saying that the children got attacked by bears and eaten. But think of good reasons and examples.
Along with this adventurous weekend, we happend to watch "The Happening" and for those of you who haven't seen it. Watch it. Mark Wahlberg ruins the movie with his sarcastic inuendos but overall the idea of the movie is fantastic. I can't tell you what happens right now, but I will put up a post in a couple of days with my thoughts on the movie. Let's just say that if you ignore some of the dialogue, it is an awesome movie.
Peace out until next time,
Serenitytsu
