“Aww! They’re so cute!” I squealed, looking at an exhibit of a small rabbit. “The volcano rabbit?” I read the plaque out loud to myself. “I want one,” I chuckled to myself, walking to the next exhibit.
“Excuse me!” a blond boy pushed passed me, knocking me over.
I stared at him before standing up and brushing myself off. “Hey!” I called out after him, fuming as he ignored me. “Stupid,” I mumbled, walking towards the door he’d run through. Even though it wasn’t usually like me to do something like this, I felt like making him apologize.
The first thing I saw when I walked out of the doors was a big, pink cafe. “Wait... that wasn’t there before, was it?” I stared at the cafe confused. I saw the boy run through a side door and followed him. "Hello?" I called out, peeking in through the door that had been left slightly ajar.
When I didn't get a reply, I shrugged and walked through. "Hello?" I called again.
"What are you doing in here?" the blond haired boy spun around, and I swear he glared at me.
"I was just..." I took a step back, my hands out. I tripped over something and fell back, putting my hand out to try and cusion the impact. I knocked something on my way down, and looked up to see it was a button.
If he hadn't been glaring at me before, he was now. "What have you done!" he ran up to the keyboard, tapping the keys quickly.
I was about to apologize and say I didn't mean it, when the ground began to shake. "Wh-what's going on?!" I cried out, as everything suddenly went black. I stared into the darkness, eyes wide, trying to make some sense of what I was seeing. A small white light was coming towards me, and when it got closer to me I realised it was a rabbit. "Not a rabbit... a kit?" I whispered to myself, remembering the word for baby rabbit.
I held my hand out to the kit, who came straight up to me and sniffed my fingers. I smiled and went to pick the little kit up. But the second my fingers connect with it, there was a flash of light and the kit dissapeared. "What's going on?" I looked around, before blacking out.
