My I-search is on both laptops and Desktops and on which I should get. Some of the things I have found out about weakness and strengths of both computers. Or com’s for short. First off I should pretty much explain both of them so you have a general idea on what I’m talking about.
A desktop is normally bigger then a laptop PC. Yet it has more power and actually never needs a charged battery it has more memory and actually can cost more then a laptop top depending on the model, year made and type. For me through the things that matter most to me when buying a computer is memory, cost, and appearance.
For me if I considered getting a desktop or laptop it would have to go along those lines. A desktop normally can cost more then a laptop but is bigger and takes up all of my desk space! Though some models can be sleek and take up less space, but added with a tower and a unconnected keyboard it can take up a lot of space on your desk. Meaning I’ve got no place to do my homework and that could prove troublesome. But a big plus is memory! With a tower I can a lot more memory for stuff on my desktop then on my laptop and with it being so big and heavy it’s not going anywhere.
A laptop isn’t something to spit at either. It’s portable which believe it or not really works for me plus with it being wireless I can get the internet anywhere I want. Plus its smaller and way more lightweight so I can take it anywhere in my house or out. Though that comes with the risk of being dropped and broken and repairs for laptops can be costly do to it being a laptop model makes repairs harder then that of a desktop. Normally a laptop has to be sent away to be repaired or taken to someone. A desktop is far to heavy for that so someone would have to come over and take a look which can be costly as well.
Laptops though with their fixed keyboard and screen means less flexibility. Though a laptop can cost just as much as a desktop of even more! But all laptops are sleek and thin and they take up way less space on my desk. And if I have not that much space on my desk a laptop can just slip away some where until I need it.
After all of my research I believe that a laptop is best for me. It’s portably and it has every thing I want from a computer. So believe I shall choose a laptop model over a desktop, laptops are far more private.
