I am currently a college freshman ,going for a theatre degree.
I like just about any anime really, though right now my favorite is D.greyman and DNAngel and Black Butler.

So sense my last post I have packed up all my things and moved back home for the summer. Most of the flooding everywhere has gone but its still been raining a bit. It's been nice to be home getting to spend time with my doggies and friend. We had a cook out yesterday and it was real fun. spendt some time outside and played cornhole with my family and my bestest friend. ATE A TON but thats what the holidays are for teehee. I woke up this morning with a ton of mosquito bites though and oh how they itch! I just want to scratch myself with sandpaper! oh yeah for awhile when I was home I didn't have internet on my laptop cuase the place to plug in the cord is broken so just two days ago we got a wireles router and I was soo happy to have my internet back! I'm sitting on the couch of hte living room now with my lovely laptop ^^. Fixing to go do dishes though I think hmmm
So the last few days have been crazy weather wise....again. Just after all the tornoda threats are over guess what FLOODS EVERYWHERE! It just never stopped raining. Drane street (ironically pronounces "drain") used to be famous for flooding around here until they fixed it, well no about of fixing did it this time, the entire street was washed out at one point but again this is fairly normal for this campus when it rains. All the bowls around will fill up which we've dubbed our 'dissappearing lakes'. Then other things started to brake. Me and my friend went exploreing the other night in the old theatre building and the fourth floor is leaking in several places. They've got a hose tied up with a tarp to a bucket in one spot. It was mildly funny actully. My dorms basement where all the landrey is done was flooded at one point too.
Needless to say, we never made it to MTAC which is in Nashville where no one can get in or our pretty much. I knew afew friends that are stuck there right now still. Theyre safe they just can't get out of the city all the roads are blocked off. It's almost the same here, there is still one road into town here, of course its one of the smaller ones so traffic is crazy slow. We're super close to the cumberland river too so riverside is flooded waaaaaayyy past where it't supposed to be, like it's over the riverwalk, the road and all the stores over that way. You can go over there and see lamp posts barely sticking out of the water, It's crazy and I want to go and take pictures of it.
Alot of poeple where away at home for the weekend so they can't make it back to campus too, like my roommate. At first the school said they would let you reschedule an exam if you missed it but late last night they decided just to close school altogather, so no school today for me and no exams. That was pretty good I guess. I've been calling back home alot to make sure everyones is ok, back home is also by a river of course, the mississippi. Everyone is ok there but school is also canceled and all the bridges are out or damaged. The entire navy base was flooded back home too as well as the highway by it.
They say Tennessee has broken rainfall records this week, and now that the rain seems to have stopped, well, the rivers are still rising. Sense we're a river town thats not very good. I'm glad that we're safe but I pray for those in nasville and around that are not and for the pets cuase I know that the shelters for emergency dont' allow them in. I think the death toll was only five so far though. It's a good low number but I'd rather there be no number to report at all.
The most exciting thing this weekend I suppose was wading out waist high into the practice football field, me and two other friends managed to cross it, after one almost lost a flip flop in the water.
So this weekend has been an adventure already and it doesn't show any signs of stopping now. Thursday was study day here at my college. Ya know that one day you get off right before exams to study, well, no one actully studies on that day I think. We had the church picnic that morning and it was great. The weather was nice and warm and sunny and awesome. However I seem to have gotten a sunburn and a blister from the chains on the swings. Friday, which I kept thinking was saturday, was awesome too other then the morning. I had stayed up til 3:30 that night and had to get up at 7am for my first exam. We'll afterwards I went back to sleep cuase I was drained. Woke up around 3pm just in time to get a text from a friend, everyone was hanging out at the pool while the weather was nice. So it was a blast for awhile, til it turned cold again. Sent the rest of the night playing soul caliber while another friend dyed her hair in my bathroom with alittle help from everyone. Got to hang out with my crush,...I plan on telling him I like his this weekend..
Today, Saturday is ok so far. I didn't sleep so well last night on account of the good weather turning tornado season again! Rain Rain Rain and wind! I slept with the flashlight beside my bed just in case and listened to the weather channel all night. Despite the weather I'm determined to have a good day though, because......TWO OF MY FRIENDS INVITED ME TO GO TO MTAC WITH THEM! Yeah I'm psyched! I've never been to an anime convention before even though I've always wanted too. We're only going for the one day but still amazing! I don't have alot of money but I think I can get in and maybe buy one thing. Wish I had sold off my school books already then I might have alot more but oh well. I'm just happy to be able to go and see everything and hang out with some rad friends of mine while at it. I'm still looking out the window though, it's raining it's butt off idk how traffic and junk might be and we're waiting for one of them to get off work before we can head out. This is proving to be a awesome weekend, now if only we had church this sunday. T.T Last week was the last one for the year sense everyone is leaving for summer now. Only 5 days til I get to go home. I'll be happy to be home but I'll miss all my college buddies =(.
Well, was supposed to go to a play this morning with a friend but we both had too much work to do so we opted out. Other then that I've been stuck inside all day tryingto get end of year papers done. I think I've finished one of them out a three now but spending the day in front of the computer makes my mind wonder far too much. I've been doing soo much other stuff then working like I was supposed to. >.> The weather was looking nice for awhile and we were supposed to have campus church outside today I was all looking forward to the jesus party outside but it got canceled cuase of the weather starting to look bad again. I was sad, but we're still having it just now inside the ballroom ofte university center like always. It's the last service of the year so im definatly going!! I'ma miss sunday night church this summer T.T I guess I'll just have to get used to going sunday MORNING (ugh) at a friend's church or something. I should be working on another paper right now but I just can't seem to get started. Can't wait for the next two weeks to go by. Home here I come! Some of my college friends even said theyd come visit me over the summer =D made me so happy. I'd love for them to see where I come from!
Yeah, so I obviously didn't post in a week or so. Bleh, final exams came up and bam! I got papers out the butt to do before the end of the week. OF course I didn't get any work done today though, I woke up at 3pm, hey it's a weekend I got all day to do stuff y'know? However, not an hour and a half later the tornado sirens go off. I"m freakin out cuase I've never heard the dorm sirens before, so I go to ask my friend what to do and shes like "whatever, it's nothing." then the RA down the hallway blows an air horns and yells for everyone to get in the basement. So we did, with everyone thinkin "oh, it'll be over in five minutes." Well, one leaky window and an hour later we're still there. listening to the weather report and I'm praying cuase a tornado touch down like just 10 miles away. I hadn't eat all day and it's not like 5:30 while other poeple had somehow just gone to subay or something before the warning and were chowin down. ( loves how Monsoon by Tokio Hotel just started playin on my compy) everything turned out to be fine but I didn't like it one bit. Other then that we decorated by roomies side of the room like a jungle for her birthday. When she gets back tomorrow I can't wait to see what she says. X3 and now I still have yet to get ANY work done T.T I'll be spending all tomorrow i nthe library workin I think...
