Toxic Waters

A land controlled prototype bio-weapon has been released into the water by a terrorist organization. Luckily, it's incomplete and should have no affect on people, or so they thought. Since then several teens and young adults have noticed changes in there bodies, or even their ways of thinking. The weapon is mutating them, and in some playing with their heads. It has been three months since that spill. Many questions are being asked still. We know better, or at least some of us do. It has changed us, made us into outcasts. We can't tell anyone. They'd just use us for test subjects. We're on our own.

Somethings off

As the morning dawned I still hadn't slept. Something had been off all night. I thought of calling the others then remembered I had no one's numbers. Well only one course of action left.

Jumping out of bed I quickly got dressed and headed for the door. In a probably smart moment of inspiration I peeked through the blinds and saw a black van sitting across the street. "Mom!!!"

"What?!?!" she yelled back.

I sighed, she wasn't going to like this much. "Can you give me a ride to school?"

She came into the room with her hair half done. "Why?"

"I kinda forgot this thing I need to be there early for and now I'm running late." I lied, if she found out the truth I was dead, no, worse then dead.

"Oh Talor," her hand was on her forehead, "fine, hurry and get in the car."

I smiled, "Thanks Mom." With that I ran out and jumped in the front seat her right behind me.

At school I jumped out waved goodbye and quickly pulled out a sheet from my note book. I headed it with Toxic Waters. going down I made columns headed Name, Phone, and Power. I filled in my info and started looking for the others.
