Past: The third child of five. He is one of the most normal of the group and often helps his older sister by taking care of his younger sisters. His brother and mother are pretty much bat shit insane, so he often is out of the house when not helping his sister.

Personality: He can be slightly cocky, but is in "srs bsns" (serious business) mode when he needs to be. Can be quite clever in situations and blissfully stupid in others. He calls people comrade and happens to enjoy bothering Finnigan.

Past: His parents used to beat him so he lives with foster parents. He prefers to be along. Skips school a lot cause he gets beat up there for his weird hair and eyes (changed after the mutation)

Eye color: Dark purple but turn yellow when angered
Clothing: black ripped jeans, boots, chain on pocket of pants, black hoodie with striped sleeves and a skull on it. 3 piercings in his right ear
Personality: Untrusting, comes across as a smart*ss, also laid back personality, can be friendly after he gets to know you
Special power: He can read others thoughts which is why he is so untrusting, he knows what others truely thing of him.
The idea I have for a plot is that they want those who are mutated into custody and study them in a lab. The characters don't want to be taken so they hide that they are among those affected. Without going insane in the proses. Any one have a better plot or something to add to what I have.

Past: his parents died in a fire when he was five and he has been in and out of foster homes ever sense. No family ever seems to want to keep him after a few months with him.

Hair style: messy and covering his eyes all the time. His bangs are down to his chin while the rest of his hair is only about three inches long.
Eye color: light green color
Clothing: jeans or cargo pants with ratty shirts
Personality: he has closed himself off from the rest of the world. Inside he's a lonely child looking for a friend but he no longer knows how to express it.
Special power: can turn into a small red cat. He often uses it to get away from others.
