"What the bloody hell?! Why are there four of you?" I shouted angrily at that...Bloody Russian.
"Well, you see...There was this spill..." He said laughing nervously, but then he put on a more serious expression. "But it affected you as well? I see that your leg disappeared for a moment there."
"Well, yes. But don't tell anyone. My mother doesn't know about and I'd really like no one to know about this horrid thing." I look down at my watch and jump. "Damn, I have to take Mary Ann to her Uni classes and then go to the school I'm starting to teach at."
Vlad looked at me curiously and before he could ask anything, I speed off dragging Mary Ann along with me. It was all a blur, dropping her off and speeding towards the school. I quickly hurried to the front of the building, bumping into some students who were talking, one of them slipping something back into their pocket.
"I'm sorry lads, didn't mean to run into you...Fuck!" I look at my hand that happily took that moment to vanish. The students stared at me as I ran off into the building. How was supposed to keep it a secret now? Knowing adolescents, they'd probably tell everyone they know! And I just got to this school after some substitute teaching back in London...
