It worked....I couldn't hear his thoughts. My eyes widened in shock and suddenly I could hear them again. I smiled at Vlad. "It worked." He smiled. Then I caught something, and I blushed. "Um...do you like Mr. Bloodgood?" His eyes widened a little. "Well." He didn't really need to answer me. I had my answer. "RUSKI! What are you telling my student?!" "FINNI!" Vlad tackle hugged Mr. Bloodgood. I looked down. "Oi what are you two doin?! There's a child in here!" I found myself in Mary Ann's bosom again. "Hey Finni I did it! I helped our little friend!" Mr. Bloodgood raised an eyebrow and looked over at me. "Is that so?" I nodded. "Yeah. I couldn't hear what he was thinking it was great!" 'Oh heavens! He hears thoughts!! I wonder what kinds of things he's weseen out of those two's heads?!!!' I couldn't stop myself from laughing. Mary Ann's face turned red. 'Oh no he can hear me!!!!' This was nice. I wonder if this is what a normal family feels like. Mr. Bloodgood sat down on the couch. "So I think that in order to teach you to better understand your powers you must first learn your limitations. Since you're up here I'll start with you." I sat down on the chair across from him. "How far do you think you can hear Dante?" I shrugged. "I never tried it before." He smiled. "Yes that's what I thought. Go on give it a try." I closed my eyes and concentrated. "Um I can hear a woman worrying about someone named Jamie." Mary Ann's eyes widened. "That's Mrs. Andrews. Her husband Jamie left on a business trip this morning. It's his first time on a plane. They live 4 houses up the street!" "Cool. I never realized I could hear that far." Mr. Bloodgood nodded. "Interesting. I wonder what else you'll find you can do. Now then I guess I should talk to the other students as well. If you'll excuse me." Vlad followed after him. I concentrated and soon sighed in the peaceful silence. The first time my head didn't hurt in months.
