I caught Max's message and watched out the window as he tried to fly with Elizabeth in his arms. Mary Ann looked out too. "Oh dear. They're gonna work up an appetite." She smiled at me. "Hehe good thing I have the right stuff to make cookies!" I smiled, and helped her make them. My phone buzzed. I took it out and saw a message from the Clines. Where are you? When are you coming home? I felt angry. I told them where I was. It's not like they care. I heard a cry of surprise and looked up to see Mary Ann staring at me. "Your eyes dear....they're gold....." I exhaled in order to calm myself. "A..are they purple again?" She nodded. "I'm sorry. They do that when I get angry. M...my foster parents don't really like me." She pet my head. "It's ok dear. Things will get better." Just then the others came back in. "Here you go dearys. Cookies!" They were all gone in .5 seconds. I smiled at Max. "So how did it go?" He frowned. "I only got up like 20 feet." I shrugged. "That sounds good to me. Besides you'll get better." he smiled. Vlad looked around. "Sooo who wants to practice next?!!"
