Mary Ann was all upset. She made me hot chocolate and gave me really soft pillows. "Are you sure you're ok? Not too cold? Not too hot?!" I smiled shyly. "I'm fine honest. Thank you for putting me up on such shirt notice." Her jaw dropped. "Sweety why wouldn't we?!! I still can't believe...oh those horrible people!!!" Vlad poked his head in as Mary Ann walked out mumbling about how she would beat the s*it out of anyone who dared harm her lil Tay. "Me and Finni are just down the hall so you just scream if you need us ok Tay!" I smiled. This is what home should feel like. I sighed peacefully and fell into the first good sleep I'd had in a long time. When I woke up Mr. Bloodgood was sitting next to my bed. "So...how did you sleep?" I nodded. "Fantasticslly." He nodded. "That's good. Look I thought maybe you should stay here today. You need rest. Also I'll be brining the others back here after school again." I nodded. He smiled and ruffled my hair. "Well then. Have a good day son." He walked out of the room and Mary Ann walked in with some breakfast. "Eat up kiddo you need your strength." I smiled and dug in. It was the best meal I've ever had too. I realized I was really looking forward to staying with them....forever.
