“That was cool.” I smiled at him. “How about we give the motion one more shot though.’ I offered.
“I can’t do it though.” Dante said and looked down at the floor.
“We’ll start on just me running around then we’ll work on the communication while I’m flying.” I said and he nodded. “Elizabeth you don’t mind do you?” I asked her with a concerned look.
“No it’s alright really. I like my feet on the ground as much as possible.” She laughed lightly.
“Alright, then lets head back outside.” I motioned to the door.
We all went back outside and I started walking around first “You ready?” I asked walking around Dante in circles.
He nodded and I started running. I was faster then a lot of people think because my bones are hollow. ‘Can you hear me?’ I thought.
I didn’t hear a response ‘Talk to me Dante…’ Still he didn’t say a word so I started sprinting. ‘If you can hear me please don’t tell Elizabeth this, I think I have a crush on her.’
“Don’t worry, I won’t tell her.” He said in my head and I slowed down to a walk breathing a little bit heavier and I smiled at him.
‘Thanks.’ I nodded. “You did it.” I laughed a little.
“Now it’s you’re guy’s turn.” Dante said and put a hand on my shoulder then looked at Elizabeth “He’s all yours.” He said and went back into the house.
“So um…Do you want to practice any more or just call it a day?” I asked.
“You haven’t practiced today.” She said and walked over to me. “It’s fine, I don’t mind.”
I held out my hand for her to take then picked her up bridal style and spread my wings. “I promise I won’t drop you.” I said and slowly lifted us up off the ground. I started gliding around a little then tried to get a bit higher. I got up a couple of feet but not much. After then I landed back on the ground softly.
