I was sitting outside thinking about my powers when I caught distressed thoughts from Mr. Bloodgood....(or...dad) I looked up the street to see done guys throwing him into a car. "SOMEONE QUICK!! HELP THEY GOT MR. BLOODGOOD!!!!" I started running down the street. I can't let this happen! I heard the door slam as everyone cane charging out. I was almost to the van when I tripped. The car started to go. I cried out and reached my hand out. NO!!! I finally have a family I won't let them ruin it! There was a pressure in my head as I held the van in place. It's tires squealed on the pavement. I grit my teeth as it got harder to hold. The pain intensified. Vlad just reached the door when I blacked out. When I came too I was on the couch. I tried to read the others thoughts I winced. That's when I noticed there was a bloody rag up my nose. I slowly sat up. "W...what happened?" Max's look said it all. "They got away..." I felt the tears well up. "I...I'm sorry....I couldn't save him!" Mary Ann gave me a hug. "It's ok dear. We'll get him back" Jesse nodded. "I don't think you should overdo it now though. There was blood coming out of your nose and ears." I nodded. That's when I noticed who else was missing. "Where's Vlad?" Max looked at the door. "He's still outside." I got up and headed outside to see him on the ground starring down the road the car went. I knelt down and gave him a hug. "I'm sorry I couldn't hold it long enough..."
