I had finally got up from my stupor. I still could not believe what had happened. Everything had seemed to be going right, and then this happened. But...That means they have to have been watching us. We can't practice here anymore.
"Who was that?" Max piped up from the group.
Mary Ann did not have her usual happy demeanor. She had a serious look on her face. She scowled.
"They...Were the Noctis Mortem. You guys are probably too young to know who exactly they are. You may have heard of them."
I stared around. Neighbors were stepping out of their houses looking around in confusion and panic. They had heard Finni's yell.
"They're a terrorist group that works in this city. More specifically, they're the terrorist group who created the bioweapon that contaminated the water that gave you guys your powers." She said.
All of the children looked at her in surprise.
"That was them?!" Dante asked.
Mary Ann nodded. "They're horrible. They probably forced the news and doctors to tell you guys you were fine."
"Knowing them, they will test him and then kill him." I spat out.
Mary Ann spoke up again. "We can't practice here anymore. They were watching us. They know that you all have powers. They might be after you all."
