I couldn’t remember when I got up but I didn’t sleep very well last night. It might have been because I slept wrong or something like that. I was sitting at the table eating breakfast. Both my parents had gone to work so I was alone in the house. My phone buzzed on the table and I saw it was from Dante so I flipped it open. Him and Jenny were skipping today and they wanted us to skip too. I shrugged my shoulders and decided to go along with it. I didn’t mind missing a day of school. So I finished eating breakfast and then started over to Stella’s house first to see if she got the message.

I couldn’t sleep at all. I was exhausted. Of course it didn’t help that every time I moved the knee replacements hit the other leg and it being freezing. I couldn’t tell if it was night or day any more. I just wanted to touch grass again. Only having concrete and metal gets old very fast. And actually having a HOT shower would be nice from the warmish showers that we get here. I knew it was only the third day for me. Well I think it was only the third day, I couldn’t really tell.
“Do we even have to do anything today?” I muttered noticing that no one has came to my door or anything. “Why are we here anyways?” I sighed flopping back down on my bed. ‘Is it because of some kind of war that we don’t know about? Or is it just that they want to see how much we can do before our own powers kill us in the end?’ I didn’t know why these thought’s popped into my head but you tend to have a good amount of time to yourself here to actually think.

I was walking over to Dante’s house when my phone buzzed in my pocket. I pulled it out and it was Dante. I kind of didn’t want to skip school. I didn’t even know the people that we were supposed to be rescuing. So I decided to talk to Drake about it and see what we should do. I walked up to his house and Knock on his door.
“I’ll get it.” I heard Drake say form the other side of the door. “Oh Anna, hey.” He greeted.
“Did you get the text from Dante?” I asked looking up at him.
