I looked at the text then at the door to my room. Well one day couldn't destroy our relation ship right?
"I'll be there." I texted Dante before I quickly dressed. As the sun started coming up I jumped out the window landing with years of practice. As I noted that the black van hadn't seen me I changed into a cat and ran headlong up the street.
~Talor~
"I'll be there at ten, for now sleep." I tried to text Dante, though as I was still half-asleep it probably read "At tin, sleep." Oh well who cares.
My face returned to the pillow as I continued to fake sick.
~Salem~
I woke to Luke running into the door. Immediately I screamed into my pillow as the other slammed into the door.
"It's early, now what?" I snapped at the door.
"You want to skip school and go practice with some of the others?" Luke asked through the door.
"Ya sure." With that I got up and started messing with pulling my hair up while not fully awake.
As I walked down the stares I spotted my Dad staring at me. It seemed he'd started dying his hair again as the red was now nearly covered in black minus the small patches still left his natural color. "Skipping are you?"
"Just to help a friend out, I'll go back tomorrow, I swear." Usually I wouldn't get emotional, but dad had a way of bringing the side I tried to hide out.
"I'm getting to soft." He covered his eyes and looked at the ceiling, "I'll let it slide this once."
"Thanks dad." I hurried off down the hall.
