Dr. Cline placed leather restraints on my arms and around my torso keeping my wings tucked away in my body. I could feel that the leather straps were directly placed over where my opening for my wings. Every move I made the straps rubbed against my shoulder blades and it killed my back.
Even though we were blind folded and placed in restraints I could still hear the chopper as we got closer to it. “Why do we have to be placed in restrains?” I asked.
“If you didn’t fight back from getting the blind fold on you then I wouldn’t have had to put you in restraints.” Dr. Cline snickered.
“Why a blind fold though. I know exactly where I am.” I commented. Since my powers manifested I’ve had this strange knack of knowing where I was even with my eyes close.
“Really and where are you then.” He snapped.
“We’re on the roof, five yards from the door that leads to the stairs, and we’re roughly twenty- five yards away from the chopper where, Lucas and Dante are currently.” I explained and the next thing I know I was being punched in the stomach. I couldn’t breath from how hard he punched me. I couldn’t even cough. He injected something into my neck.
“Keep moving eight.” He ordered and yanked me along.
“It’s Max you moron.” That earned me another punch to the gut.
I coughed trying to gain my breath back. He pushed me onto the chopper and sat me down.
“Max.” I heard Lucas say and I looked directly where his voice came from.
“Hey Lucas.” I smiled.
“Eight that’s A.” Some women said.
“His name is Lucas and the kid that’s unconscious next to him is Dante.” I commented. So some reason even though my eye’s were blindfolded I could still see them. Well it seemed like I was seeing their spirit is more like it. Maybe it was because of whatever that stuff that Dr. Cline injected into me.
“Well it seems that there’s more to you then we originally thought isn’t there eight.” The women snickered.
“Max!!” I heard faintly but I heard it.
It was Elizabeth; I knew it was. I wanted to see her, but I don’t want her to get killed.
