I was so confused as to why I started blushing when Markus helped me, although that was really kind of him. I looked over and noticed Kyle. He was... Glaring? At the door where Markus just ran out. Why would he do that? Unless... He can't of noticed, the movement was so small you had to be looking for it to actually see it. And why would Kyle get worked up
over it?
I didn't think anyone would notice the slight twitch upwards of my mouth when Markus helped me with my lip. It wasn't enough to be an actual smile, but the movement was enough to let me know that I can still smile maybe. And that's really comforting to know for some reason.
I watched as Salem and Kotone helped Summer with her eye. She didn't seem to happy about me ruining her precious face.
"Jeez, if you two wouldve fought this hard back in California it may have gotten a bit of a crowd." Salem said, looking at the both of us. "Not enough to get the police though. Like some of the fights we've seen."
Summer stood up. "Well I'm leaving. I don't care anymore." She turned to me. "You might wanna go after your boyfriend."
"M-my what?! Y-you... Marco isn't my boyfriend!" I stuttered, and I couldn't help but noticed kyle's face seemed a bit angry and confused.
"Yeah sure. I don't know, you two looked pretty intimate. Just don't mess up... Bitch." and with that she walked out, Kotone following after her.
"Was that an almost sisterly moment I saw there?" Salem asked surprised.
I said nothing. I almost saw the same spark in her eye as we used to have when we didn't fight. But how? We'd been fighting for years. What made her suddenly turn around and almost act like a human being? I looked down and noticed my necklace again. She helped get it fixed too...
Maybe... Maybe there's still hope?
