I sat huddled on the new bed that I was given. After....After that certain event with Dr. Walker, I was moved to a bigger room. It didn't even feel like a cell like my previous one. It was much well furnished, but I felt horrible. It was a moment of weakness and I knew Sebastian wasn't going to forgive me...
I looked up quickly when I heard the door open. I saw Dr. Walker and Dr. Olmos. She smirked and walked up to me. "Hello, A. How are you doing today?"
I hesitated. Her niceness sounded so...false. "I'm fine..."
"Not for long~!" She giggled. "Since we found extremely similar powers in Experiment B, we don't need you too much anymore~!"
I quickly took a breath in. Where they going to kill me...? No..They couldn't do that. It can't be possible. I...I...
"We're going to be testing what happens when you go over your limit with your powers." Dr. Walker...No, Darren, said sadly. "It is possible that you may...Pass on."
Dr. Olmos rolled her eyes and grabbed my arm and led me to another room and had a bunch of wires connected to me. I was confused as I watched her walk out. Darren lingered for a moment before walking over to me and quickly pressed a kiss to my forehead.
I went red for a moment and I watched him walk out. I was sitting in that horribly blank room. The door didn't have a handle, and it was just me and the machine I was hooked up to. I couldn't even see a power source on it. All I could do is sit and wait to see what was going to happen.
It was almost immediate. The same throbbing feeling that I started to get when I used my powers too much started up. It felt like my brain was being pounded in by a hammer and every inch of my skin was starting to burn. I tried to scream, but no sound would come out. I didn't even notice myself fall out of the chair I was sitting on and land on the floor with a thump.
I tried to yank off the wires, but they wouldn't budge. The more I yanked the more it would hurt. I started to blink rapidly, my vision becoming blurred with my tears that I didn't even notice before.
I felt everything starting to fade. But before it did, I noticed a slightly blurred window and the pale looking face that was Darren's.
And then everything went black.
