I sat up quickly and tried to stare around the room. Everywhere I looked was pitch black. Was it night? The comfortable room didn't have any windows, so I guess that could be the reason. I got out of bed and stumbled toward the light switch, trying to avoid hitting anything. When I reached it, I quickly tried to turn on the lights and panicked.
The switch was already on. That can't be true.... Did a light get blown out? I heard the door open and some footsteps walk toward me. "Lucas? Are you okay?" It was Darren. I couldn't help but notice he was using my actual name. Not just A.
"Darren... Why are all the lights off?" I was worried as to what the answer would be.
"The... The lights aren't off. They're all on." I heard him sigh. "Youve been made completely blind."
I sucked in my breath quickly. "B-blind?"
"Yes, the experiment held true. When you overuse your powers it affects your vision."
"But... That means I can't use my powers!! A-and.... I can't see! Darren! I can't see!"
I stumbled forward and clutched his labcoat in a panic. I could just imagine my eyes right now. I saw one while it was a mottled blue. Now they both were. Cloudy and sightless. I wanted to sob, cry, punch, kick, anything! But I couldn't. I just fearfully clinged onto Darren. Wondering exactly what will happen to me.

I was rather curious on whether they should keep Lucas there, or maybe send him back to the group just to show them what happens if you get captured. Maybe with Darren going along and pretending to be just some guy who found him. So he can like... Survey the group and to see how to get rid of them. What do you guys think..?
