I was laying in bed now staring at the ceiling. The scientists must have really done a number on Dante this time considering he was still asleep. The door opened to Dr. Cline standing in the doorway.
“Come with me 08.” He ordered.
“Haven’t you people done enough with me today?” I asked sitting up and getting off the bed.
“Don’t get snippy.” He muttered and pushed me in front of him we went a few doors down.
“Where are you taking me?” I asked confused.
“We’re going to try a little something considering you keep developing abilities so quickly.” Dr. Cline commented and opened a random door. I saw Lucas and another scientist in the room.
“Lucas!” I smiled but then it quickly faded when I saw eye. They were hazed over.
“Max…where are you?” He asked.
“What happened to him?” I questioned.
“That’s just it we pushed his powers to the point where he is now completely blind and so I have come up with a theory that if we give him something that has your blood in it maybe he’ll develop powers as quickly as you do 08.” Dr. Cline explained.
Then another scientist walked into the room, “Dr. Cline here is the pill you wanted for 08.” She said and placed the pill in his hands.
“Well you work faster then I expected Dr. White.” Dr. Cline smirked then turned back to me. “Open up 08.” He ordered.
I had my mouth shut as tight as I could keep it.
