I laid in my bed in the darkness. In a few hours we were going to break out of here. Dante and I have been figuring out our plan this entire time. We have to get Mr. Bloodgood then get the heck out. I’ve gotten strong enough to hopefully carry both of them of a decent distance with out having to touch down. I sat up in bed and stared across the room where Dante was leaning against the wall, his right arm resting on top of his knee.
“Ready to go?” I asked running my hand through my hair trying to get it out of my eyes. The second thing I was going to do once I got out of here was get my bangs cut a bit. The first thing I want to do is see Elizabeth.
“Lets go.” Dante jumping off his bed and lightly landing on the floor.
I formed a feather in my hand and tossed it at the door. Once the tip of the feather hit the door it slowly absorbed into the door making it possible for us to pass through it with out having to get someone to come to the door to open it for us. I poked my head out and there was no one around, so I walked through and so did Dante and we ran to the hall to Mr. Bloodgood’s room. I did the same thing to his door and Dante and I ran in and got him out of his bed and we helped him out of the room and down the hall.
The siren started going off when we were half way up the stairs to the roof. “Damn it.” I muttered and Dante and I picked up the pace.
“If you have to switch with him then do it Max.” Dante mentioned.
“What are you talking about Dante?” Mr. Bloodgood questioned.
“We’ll explain later, I don’t need to right now.” I said and we got to the roof. “Dante get on the other side of me.” I told him.
“Max, you’re nuts, just leave me here and you two get out of here.” Mr. Bloodgood stated.
A couple of shots went wizzing past my head, “No time for arguing now.” I said and pulled Dante to my other side and held onto both of them and tight as I could and jumped off the edge of the building. I spread my wings and took off towards town. “Dante can you find Jenny and ask her where they are so I know where the heck I’m going?” I asked.
