Bonding! Yay!

~Finni~

I stared around my old house...I hadn't been there in quite awhile. I looked over to see Dante looking curiously at a picture. I stepped closer the mantle where it was located to see an old family photo.

"Is that your mom?" Dante asked, pointed to the woman in the photo with pale blonde hair and soft blue eyes.

"Yes, that's my mum. Your grandmother I guess." I sighed looking at it. "Dante, would you like a little tour of the house before we leave?"

Dante nodded. "Sure!" I led him down the hallway towards the bedrooms. "Wow...You and Mary Ann must have really liked drawing." He gestured towards the walls, all of which were plastered with small hand prints of every color and drawings obviously done by a small child.

"Yes, mum and dad just let us go crazy with the paint. I remember I dumped a lot of purple paint on Mary Ann that day." I said pointing to an area of carpet and wall that looked like wave of purple had befallen it. "Oh, this is my room" I said opening the door. "It's...a bit dusty."

I stared around. It looked like it hadn't been touched in awhile. My old toy chest, and the walls were just as 'decorated as the hallway. There were even some old beer bottles and some of my old clothes.

"Pops, what's this?" Dante looked down to a small placard.

I walked over and looked down at it before I burst out laughing. "Oh...I completely forgot about that!"

Dante read it out loud. "A commemoration of the place where my brother seemed to pass out all the time when he was drunk. Love, Mary Ann" he laughed.

"You guys seemed to be best friends back then!"

"Well, yes. I didn't have many friends due to...Reasons. But we were incredibly close." I looked at the wall. "Oh, here's a picture of Robbie and me." I dusted of the picture a bit. "Let's go to Mary Ann's room."

I saw Dante tense up slightly at the sound of Mary Ann's name. He was clearly still sad about it. I was too, but I couldn't really do anything. When we walked into her room, I almost immediately stepped on a lone rag doll that was on the ground for some reason.

"Hey! Is this Todd?" Dante's eyes were sparkling again as he held up a picture of a small boy with mussed up blue hair and purple red eyes.

"Yes, that's him. He must be here in England." Before I could say anymore I turned to see my dad.

"Ah, Finnigan. I made some tea for you lads." Dad patted Dante on the shoulder. "Don't worry, son. You're always welcome here, don't be shy." He ushered Dante out towards the kitchen.

"Now Finnigan. You will be taking him to see your mother, right? It'll only be right for him to meet his grandmother." Dad said as he set a cup of tea in front of Dante.

"Yes, I will. Shall we go now or after we meet up with the rest. The cemetery isn't too far from here." I looked at Dante.

"Uh...I guess now? If it won't take too long..."
