I quickly opened my eyes and shot up from where I was sitting only to slap whoever was closest to me. That thing happened to be Kyle. I was breathing heavily, as if I had been in a nightmare. I half looked around expecting to still be at my home. I wasn't of course.
"Oh God! I'm sorry Kyle! Perdoname!" (Forgive me!) I said quickly sitting up.
I was wearing a pair of navy blue flannel pajamas. I stared at it confused. "Don't panic, your sister came to get you into warm clothes." Kyle said, rubbing his check. "Also, ow."
I sighed. What the hell did I do? I looked over at Markus. "You're okay! Thank goodness!" I ran over and hugged him.
I couldn't help but look out the window. "HOLY FUCK!"
"What? What's wrong?" Markus asked.
I ran to the window and smiled widely. "It's SNOWING! It's really honestly real snow!"
"...and?" Kyle said confused.
I turned to him. "This is the first time I've ever SEEN snow! Let's go outside! Let's go outside!" I grabbed Kyle's arm and tried to drag him towards the door.
"Uh...Did you forget everything that just happened?"
"...What?"
"For one, you just jumped into a river, two, it's nighttime, and three, you're in your pajamas."
I stared at him. "So?"
"You'll get sick!"
"No I won't!" Almost immediately after, I sneezed, then pouted.
"Told you. You and Markus should probably get some rest. Don't be mad at me when you have a cold or something. You're the one who jumped into a cold river."
Well, that's true. I tugged him over and hugged him. "Well, thanks. Seriously, you're like an older brother to me!" I smiled, although there was something in Kyle's eyes...Was it sadness? "But we have to go play in the snow tomorrow okay? You too Marco!"
I clapped my hands and grabbed the blanket I had been wrapped in before walking back to Kyle and giving him a peck on the cheek. I moved over and did the same to Markus. "Good night guys! Kyle, I'm taking over your room since I don't feel like walking back to my apartment."
And with that, I walked off to get some well earned sleep.

I had met with another boy in the room with Darren. There were two others beside my brother and me. A boy named Lucas and another named Sebastian. Darren told me Lucas had recently gone blind. I felt bad for the boy, while I had gone blind at a younger age, Lucas had been able to see most of his life.
I felt tension though, between my brother and the Sebastian boy. I wasn't sure why and I wish I could figure something out to calm them down. But all I could do is sit and hope something will happen. I guess I could talk to Lucas...And calm him down some and help him with his blindness...
