After Markus and Summer got into a slight tussle about the snow (mostly Summer) I just stood and watched laugh. My voice was still scratchy, but I was having too much fun to care. All of a sudden, I heard a loud THUMP behind me. I turned around to see Salem face first in a snow drift. I couldn't help but burst out laughing like an idiot.
He lifted up his reddened face from the snow. "Hey..."
I laughed and grabbed his hand and helped him up. We were both short. Very short. Around the same height actually. "Didja fall out the window?" I smirked as he made a face.
"Yes. I fell out. Thanks for helping."
I started coughing before answering. "No prob! But we should get inside before it gets cold. Can't remember if I told you, but me 'n my sisters are gonna be stayin' at your place for awhile!"
Salem nodded. "Luke told me. It really has been awhile. It'll be nice."
Markus walked up to us and nodded. "We should probably get back inside before you get the flu or something. We all need to start packing anyways."
I nodded and we all walked back in. After that we all decided to go out and have a little going away party. We stepped out into the cold all talking and laughing, and I couldn't help but look back and see Salem watching us from the window. I just realized. I kinda formed my own little group while we were in England. And my own best friend wasn't invited.
"Hurry up or we'll leave you behind Katia!" I heard Kyle shout at me.
I smiled and I ran up, unconsciously grabbing onto both Kyle and Marco's hands with Vincent trailing behind us. I'll just have to spend extra time with Salem when we go to his house, then everything will be alright!
