Today is free comic day at Hastings, I picked up a Sonic: Evolution of a Hero and Chapter 0 of Hiroyuki Takei's (think Shaman King) new manga. It's called Karakuridoji Ultimo. It's really well drawn, I'll probably buy it.

I'm waiting anxiously for eye primer to come in the mail. Naturally, even the best mineral eye-makeup is practically invisible without it...right?
I ended up going to Walgreens in search of an alternative (at home, I tried foundation and two types of eyeliner, with bad results). I picked out Almay's bright eyes eye base + concealer and didn't really expect much.
As a concealer: awful, no way. Don't buy it to cover up dark circles.
As a primer/ eye base: Dooo it! This is the ONLY eye primer you can buy at the drugstore, as far as I've seen, and it doesn't suck.
