Across the Universe

About a month ago (February 20th) I wrote a personal narrative essay for my English 101 class. I worked on it for a long time and through grueling edits and rereading, it was finally all polished and shiny and I finally got an A on it. I was ...

Art and World Design Rant-ifacation.....

AHHHHHHHH I just deleted my 3 paragraph post . Damit! *goes off to corner of woe to recuperate*

*sigh* Here I go again (Because I'm stubborn-_-)

Hello

Ah, my first real post in this world!

I just made a new background for this world, but it's not showing up the way I wanted. It cuts out alot of the drawing -_-. So I posted the full image with this post.

To make it, I used watercolors, a pencil and a sharpie. I have just started to use these materials (Well, except for the pencil XP, so I'm still adjusting to them. Usually I just do black and white pencil drawings, since I don't necessary like to color, no do I like to use regular pens. I recently started to experiment with other material, so the images can show up when I scan them. My usual drawings come out way too light and you can't see it. So that’s why I've never uploaded any fanart here.
Yes, sharpie is a weird utensil to pick from, but it's all I got. Professional pens or ink is too expensive for me, so I substituted. It's alittle hard to work with at first, since it smears easily and doesn't draw the most finest of lines, but I'm starting to get use to it.
The watercolor paints were bought on a whim. I just felt like painting (Boy ,I sound like Forrest Gump), and I bought some Rosecolor paints at Wal-Mart. I personally prefer them to any other coloring material so far.
I also bought the paints, because I remember some advice from my sempai/friend, who is a really good artist. Any who, she told me that if I want to color for cheap, to use watercolors and the knock-off-brand Copic markers (I forgot the name..). So I took her advice, though I haven't bought the markers yet...

Besides this background, I also made a background for the Watercooler. I was really surprised to see it already posted on the W.C. I am embarrassed that the picture didn't come out a bit better; I shouldn't -_- have used the acrylic paints along with the watercolors, it looks alittle thick. Still I am very flattered that it was posted, Thank You Timechaser ! I'll pm ya a thank you message in a bit ^^.

I stil have to design a background for my Bootleg News Reporter world. It looks like it's going to take more careful planing, since I've had a hard time with WOW's background.

I'm unsure whether the concept fot Bootleg will float or not.
It's concept was also thought of on a whim. I was looking for more news for the podcast, when I thought since I get alot of news and it usually is really long post (I type too much! I usually have to edit everything-.-), I figure I just make a world for it, thus Bootleg was born. I have alot of ideas for it, but I'm still a little jittery about it. I think once I get into the swing of things, my worries will go away.

Both my worlds are very rough, but with my spring break coming up in a week, I'l be able to smooth things out hopefully...

I'm going to bring some of my information from myOtaku to here, so I'm still brainstorming ideas on how to situate that.

I'm still unsure what to do with MyO. Do I keep up both the world and the site? Hmm, I guess I'll figure something out...

Well I'm really tired , it's been a very busy couple of weeks and it's not going to get lighter anytime soon.

My next post will be about my life, since there is alot I want to type about.

Well bye for now !

Oh, before I forget the video with this post is a Code Monkey AMV, since I've been doing alot of internet tinkering, it seemed appropriate. Plus it is a Great AMV. Enjoy.

IGnore THis I'M trying something out...

SOrry this is a test sample post. It mst like will get deleted..
