Stones of the Norn Part III
The beastly sheep start to move in on the TARDIS. The Doctor realizes he needs to take immediate action. The Doctor turns toward Chloe and looks at her. He stares deep into her eyes. Chloe stood waiting for a deep moment with this gorgeous, mysterious man. The Doctor begins to lean in closely to Chloe, until he was just centimeters away from her face. Their eyes meet. Chloe watches the Doctor get closer and open his mouth ever so slightly. Chloe was prepared to be smooched by this mysterious hunk. “Can I wear your hat?” The Doctor cuts in. “I really like it.”
“What?! That’s it?” Chloe shouts in shock.
“What do you mean “that’s it”?”
“I thought we were going to have a deep moment.”
“Woah, sorry. I’m not a “deep person.” Or at least I don’t think I am. I don’t know. I’m still getting used to this body.”
“Fine. Take the hat.” Chloe whips off the hat, letting her hair drop.
“Thank you.” The Doctor takes her hat and notices Chloe’s beautiful fiery hair. “Blimmy! Beautiful.”
“What’s beautiful?” Chloe asks very, very confused.
“The hat.” The Doctor responds tripping over his words trying to cover his tracks. “Although its no fez. Fezzes are cool. I miss my Fez.” Chloe stares at the Doctor feeling very awkward. “Well then lets carry onwards my dear…”
“You haven’t even asked my name yet.”
“Excuse me?”
“You want me to go on this crazy adventure with you, possibly risking my life. And you haven’t even asked my name yet.”
“Well you haven’t told me your name. Plus I’ve been busy.”
“It’s Chloe.”
“What is?”
“My name.”
“Yes, now Chloe?”
“Yes, Chloe. What’s wrong with my name?”
“Nothing. It’s a splendid name.” The Doctor says with a hint of sarcasm.
“This coming from the man name “The Doctor.”
“Bah. This upsets me. Most people like how I’m shrouded in mystery.”
“Oh, really? How many chicks have you picked up with that?”
“That’s another story for another day. Maybe.” The Doctor dashes towards the beastly sheep. “Come on now dear Chloe, we’ve got some herding to do.”
“Doctor, what do you plan on doing?”
“Scare up a bit. Hopefully.”
The Doctor runs towards the TARDIS taking out his sonic screwdriver. He points the screwdriver at the light on top of the roof of the TARDIS. The light starts flashing, blinding the sheep. The pitch on the sonic screwdriver changes and the TARDIS begins to make a whirring noise. The sheep begin to scatter. The Doctor shouts back to Chloe, “Come on dear. We’re going to see where these fellows like to holiday.”
“Why do we have to run so much?” Shouts Chloe to the Doctor.
“I like running!”
“Why? This amount is absurd.”
“This? This is nothing compared to the amount of running you’ll do in the zombie invasion. Cardio will come in handy then.”
“Zombie invasion? What are talking about Doctor?”
“Don’t worry about it. You’ll find out soon enough.”
The sheep start to run into the fog. The Doctor and Chloe follow closely behind, running into the fog as well. As they got closer to the sheep, the fog thickens. The sheep arrive at their final destination. The Doctor realizes this and slams on his running brakes, as they watch the sheep and the two ravens go into the stone circle.
“ Stay behind this rock.” The Doctor whispers to Chloe. The Doctor crept slowly to the center of the circle. As he looks around the fog-engulfed area, he saw nothing but a wonderful stone arrangement. The ravens sat perched on top of the middle stone, staring at the Doctors perpetual curiosity. Something then clicked inside the Doctors head. His brows rose and he figured out what was going on.
“What are they doing?” Whispered Chloe, startling the Doctor.
“Never mind them. What have you done?!” The Doctor screams at Chloe.
“What do you mean?”
“I told you stay back for a reason!”
“That being?”
“The ravens!”
“What about those silly birds?”
“They weren’t after my box. They were after you!”
A bright light illuminates the entire stone circle, engulfing everything it touches in light. The light shoots up to the sky and then dissipates. There is nothing remaining in the circle. The Doctor and Chloe are gone.
